Jonas’ world knows no pain or fear. Everything is perfect and safe after the “sameness”. Jonas gets picked to be the reciever of memory. He then learns of everyday things. Will he take these memories the right way? I used to think this book was about saving trees when I first picked it up. Don’t ask me why! I liked this book alot. It really shows you all of the things that we take for granted. It was a little bit sad though. I give this book 4 out of 5 shields because of the wonderful characters that really develop throughout the story.

One of my old favorites! I love the deep thinking Ms. Lowry makes us do about good and evil, right and wrong. Books two and three are good too, but this is my favorite.
I didn’t know about books two and three. I’ll have to check them out! Thanks for stopping by!
