CATCHING FIRE by: Suzanne Collins

This is the second book of the Hunger Games Trilogy. As the tension grows in Panem, Katniss Everdeen is thrown back into the Hunger Games. Just like in The Hunger Games book, I don’t want to give you much of a summary because it will give a lot of things away. This book has a lot more drama than the first book, but it really fits into the setting. There are tons of huge surprises around every corner. It is cool how Katniss has such a deep and troubled character, it seems as with every decision something new appears. I give Catching Fire 5 out of 5 shields. This book keeps you guessing the whole time! WARNING! This book also has a lot of violence, gore, and a little bad language! It was on the edge with my parents whether I would be allowed to read this book.

The movie release for The Hunger Games is even closer! It comes out on March 23! I am so excited!

  1. Good review, Sir Books-a-lot!

  2. I keep hearing a lot about these books, but my parents think I am too young for them. Maybe in a couple years….

  3. I read Hunger Games and am now reading its sequel. Very entertaining books for middle school and high school students.

P.S. I’m an author of middle school novels looking for a book reviewer. Please contact me.

    • Mr. Thal, thank you for stopping by my blog. It has been a very busy year and I have not been able to get on here as much as I would like. I appreciate your support and hope to have more time either over spring break or over the summer. I will contact you when I have more time.
